Ljubljana city buses (LPP) operate on a cashless system. A single ride costs 1.50€ and allows you to change buses for free within 90 minutes.
💳 How to Pay
Urbana Mobile App
The easiest way to pay. Link your bank card, top up your balance, and scan the QR code at the bus reader.
Physical Urbana Card
Buy a yellow card (2.00€) at Petrol stations, kiosks, or Urbanomat machines. Tap it on the reader every time you board.

The green checkmark confirms your €1.50 fare is paid.
Board at the Front
In Ljubljana, you always enter through the front door by the driver. This is where the main reader is located.
The "Contactless" Tap
Hold your Urbana card (or phone with the app open) against the lower part of the green reader for one second.
90-Minute Freedom
Your tap buys you 90 minutes. Switching buses? Tap again on the new bus—the screen will show 0.00€ and let you through.
Exit Middle or Back
When you reach your stop, exit through the middle or rear doors. No need to tap out when leaving the bus!
